Hello All! Does anyone in the kayak group fish Lake Arlington? It's the closest lake to me and I plan to start spending more time learning the lake. Can I join you or would you like to meet up and fish together? Any feedback you are willing to share would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I fish there fairly often. The Bowman Springs ramp is closed and I was told they had 120 days for construction that was in late January. I wish they would hurry up and get it done. If you are on FB find DFW Kayak Fishing (DFWKFG) and join. Lots of people and traffic in the group. There is a tournament scheduled for May 23rd on LA so you’re going to see a lot of kayaks out there over the next few weeks.

yes
i am not sure why they had to close the entire ramp
if they say 120 days, it will be a year

if you are fishing that tournament
i could set it up, where you can launch from my Mothers
400 yards South of Bowman Springs

Thanks, I appreciate the offer but we have to use a public ramp. If you are willing to allow anyone fishing the tournament to use then it would be allowed. I don’t think you want 30 plus anglers launching from there.

Thanks for the feedback. Butch, I won't be fishing the tournament, but I am interested in launching from your mother's place. I'm not going to launch from the other boat ramp. My truck might end up missing or damaged.
