Are the tasers no longer effective? I thought they were designed to be used as an anti-riot form of taking someone down.

Are the tasers no longer effective? I thought they were designed to be used as an anti-riot form of taking someone down. Did you watch the video? If someone is stabbing me like the dead girl is stabbing the other girl please don’t try to taze them. Just blow them away. Good shoot from what I saw in the video.

Gray hoodie dude went from tough guy kicking a girl while she was down and fighting off an attacker to "Dang he just shot her!" real quick!  Pink? track suit girl was lucky she didn't get sliced open and if the cop wouldn't have been there she might be in a different place tonight!

So the way this would have been a good shooting would have been to wait for the girl to be stabbed to death than shoot the girl with the knife.

My question was more in general, it seems like there have been shootings where maybe having deployed the taser might have been a better option. I also understand I'm not LEO so what the heck do I know? They'll get it figured out.

We have multiple shootings here in Shreveport daily. The cops here are sitting back letting them kill each other rather then risking there life in a shoot out with a suspect only to be justified but still face the harsh aftermath of doing there job but I’m still trying figure out how all the ammo keeps getting found by some to do driveby’s daily

Good shoot. Of course the mom, well, foster mom from what I saw, said she was a honor roll student and a good kid. The National Association of Always Complaining People are well involved now.

Yup, officer did the right thing. The story is kind of strange. Early reports were that it was the teenage girl was the one that called 911 saying that there was a fight going on out front of her home. But she had a weapon and was trying to do bodily harm or kill when the officer arrived. He didn't have much of a choice.
