They are an energy generation company. 2021 has proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that all energy generation companies, even ones in Texas, are just a proxy extension of the Federal Government. Hate to break it to you, but Squaw isn't going to open until the Federal Government offices and buildings are open at 100% with no covid restrictions. I doubt that will happen in the next 4 years. Heck federal offices may never be open at 100% without restrictions ever again. We all know it's just an excuse to not operate something they have wanted to close for years. Covid is the best excuse ever invented to close things.

Got tired of people who were constantly complaining on the need for special boat ramp etiquette..... Turning your lights off is the right thing to do at any ramp, I assume anyone who leaves them on to be an idiot.

I believe the recreation and fishing area was part of the federal authorization to construct the plant. They may have to open it back up to be in compliance with their construction authorization.

As much as I enjoyed fishing the lake, Im not holding my breath waiting for it to open.
It was already starting to go down hill with Maintenance. One ramp was barely useable and the crews were minimal compared to what they were in the past. Pretty much like the plant wasn't willing to allocate any money towards it.
