Does anyone know of a bass tournament trail near San Antonio? I am looking for a smaller club(less than 50 boats). With a reasonable entry fee. I am new to the area and haven’t heard much luck finding one.

I know a couple of the guys are on here, maybe they’ll see this post tomorrow and send you some info.

Here’s the email for Elite bass club.

Thanks, I even tossed around the idea of starting a new trail or an AbA trail down here for next year. I helped run a trail back in bossier city. Nothing big a 25-30 boat thing with a $40 boat entry. I’ll keep my eyes and options open and see what next year looks like.

I moved to San Antonio in 2017 and fished with Quality Bass Club for a couple of years. They are really great guys. I had to take a break from club fishing for a couple of years because of some family issues but I recently joined the Canyon Bass Club of San Marcos. They are really welcoming guys and don't fish for money. Club dues are reasonable and tournament entry is 10$ per event fished. We've got a tournament at Canyon Lake on May 8th if you are interested in fishing as a guest.

No. You get a plaque and points. If you do well enough the club pays your expenses to fish in the state tournament. We care about competition and we care about the resource. Not prize money.
