I have a Nautic Star Hybrid CC and was considering mounting a small 12V trolling motor on the ladder at the back of the boat to run a splasher. For those who have splashers on your boats, how do you have them mounted to the boat? Would you mind sharing a few pictures to give me some ideas of the best way to mount it?

Basically, on my NS I mounted the tm to a split piece of 1.25” pvc that fits the stern rod holders.

On my NS, it is clamped on the transom next to the Outboard. The transom was a little too thick, so on the trolling motor mount I used a grinder to knock off some material opposite from the screws.

I built a wooden platform that just sits on the deck. Had to make it heavy enough so it wouldn’t flip over the side. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-92146-93242-2838a32e_19a0_450d_8471_a859ee98c93c.jpeg)

Are you running it the whole time you fish or just long enough to make the fish curious to come check out the noise?

Some things that I have done in the past: - While on a drift, raise the TM up so that the prop is slapping the top - While on anchor (actual anchor not spot lock), same thing, have the TM picked up so that the prop was slapping the top of the water
Once the fish showed up, you can drop the TM and scoot around a little or as needed.

My neighbor cut some treated wood to fit swim ladder and we bolted it to the bottom. I added a rubber bungee that keep the ladder up. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-6989-93659-20210422_172356.jpg)
