Was anyone else fishing the BBS on Rayburn today? If so how do your kidneys feel, it was a pretty bumpy one. I fished in the rain Friday and wind today but tomorrow is a new day so I’m sleeping in and cleaning my boat tomorrow, good luck to everyone fishin.

It was a little bumpy out there. Tough on us too. Nothing over 3lbs. Best bite today was flipping bushes. Good luck to everybody tomorrow.

I don’t know how many entries but I’m sure there were more than a few. What were you pitching in the bushes, I must have pitched to 1000 bushes and had 1 bite between two days. Also nothin over 3 pounds. It was tough.

I haven’t fished it in year’s. If I even fish that weekend at all, it’s on Sunday afternoon while everyone is at the final ceremony. Since I have moved to Rayburn I have a list of weekends I rarely even try to fish.. Memorial Day, 4 th of July, Labor Day and Mc Donald’s Big Bass. Helps keep the blood pressure in check! Lol

Zhopson what Champ are you running? I’m in a 198 now, was in a Basscat not long ago and I could definitely tell the difference in the ride yesterday. I’m wondering if Julie Brown is gonna catch another Big today, at one point yesterday she was in first and third overall. They definitely found the juice!

As in the last 25 years, crig dominates the Sealy. The big post spawners in 8-14ft are your best chance at a check unless it's just a weird year or perfect conditions to sight fish or flip with high water.

I was there all 3 days, also flipped bushes, biggest was 4.43 today missed a check but won in a drawing at the final ceremony. Tried C-rig and A rig and couldn't get a bite. Was locked down to the Canyons and Pophers with the other 2000 boats. They announced 3404 on entries.

Yea we were locked down in an area we’ve never fished just because we had access to a private ramp, no crowds at the ramp was nice but fishing new water was not an advantage. Should’ve just joined the rest of the crowd at our normal ramps and areas.
