before but what is the latest best lane chip in your opinion to get for Lake Fork. I have one that is about six years old and need to know if I need to upgrade. I'm not naming it now to see how it ranks. I will be installing it in an older hummingbird unit. Will be there next month and fishing solo so safety is important to me.

I have been using the Lance Vick Boatlanes chip for years. For as long as I have had my place at Fork at least. I believe there is a recent update.

I have been using the Lance Vick Boatlanes chip for years. For as long as I have had my place at Fork at least. I believe there is a recent update. had them in birds for a few yrs. and they were worth the money plus some, new ones in the garmin have some updates so the others should also.
