I was at Whitney last weekend, but did not make it to the state park. I saw lots of largemouth bass hanging around just off the bank. Nothing big, mostly 1 to 3 pounds. The sunfish have not moved up yet. I saw a couple of cat fishing anglers and they did not catch anything. I don’t have a report on crappie.
I was fishing mainly for carp and buffalo and did really well. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Always bass close to the shore line Use minnows
May your wiener schnitzel always stay above your lederhosein.
