I have been using a Japanese sinking braid in 7 lb test. Its like a moss green. I can barely see it to tie the hook on.

Im a big believer in low vis line! The darker green line is really what I have the most confidence in for what I do. It used to be Trilene XL 4lb and 6lb test low-vis green line (for my sunfish/panfish rigs) all the way. For the past few years I have switched to Berkley Nanofil with a Maxima Ultragreen leader tied to the business end. When I got back in to freshwater fishing again like 20 years ago I used Maxima Ultragreen mono but it's super hard to find in the stores. The leader you can mostly find anywhere that sells fly tackle.
One place that I have strayed from the low-vis green style is Bass Pro Shops Crappie Maxx crappie camo line. It is red, gold, gray and clear. its some really good line and right up there with the Trilene XL and some other limp lines for mono that I've used. The thing about fishing with monofilament and small ultralight reels like we do for our sunfish/panfish pursuits is that line with lots of memory and that isn't the limpest line out there, not only casts short, but you also get some bad wind knots in them as well. Putting the line on just so only and making sure you close the bail after the casts only helps but so much. The BPS Camo line is cheaper than most of its competitors and works just as well if not better. If you fish ultralight with ultra light jigs, spinner and other super light tackle, The Nanofil or other superfine is really the way to go. Its made specifically for spinning reels and can cast 1/32nd oz baits (and smaller) like a rocket when you have the equipment to do so. It also tends to cut through grass and vegetation with no problem when you have a nice fish on.Between the low-vis green Nanofil with Maxima Ultragreen leader on and BPS camo mono, Im set.

6 lb, clear fluorocarbon. I also use a small Mr. Crappie reel. I like the reel because it has a larger diameter spool than other ultralights. Larger spool and the line comes off easier with less memory.

I also like the low vis green. 12 to 15 pound for bass and 4 to 6 for pan fish.

I have a tendency to put a 8-10ft fluorocarbon leader on my line. I love fishing with Orange line because I can see it.

I use 6-8lb P-Line floroclear, haven't noticed a difference in amount of bites with the 2 colors they offer.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

I like to use a High Vis main line with a fluorocarbon leader. I use 6 lb Nanofil in Clear Mist color, which is basically white. I tie on a 4 or 6 lb fluorocarbon leader to the Nanofil with a Double Uni Knot. Any High Vis line could be used here but I like the qualities of Nanofil.
I have found and confirmed to a 100% level that sunfish are Line Sensitive. Sometimes to a high degree. Sometimes less.

10 feet. I’ll tie on a new one once it gets down to 6 feet due to reties.
