1. Indian Hawthorns--look hopelessly gone all over town
2. Mock Orange/Pittosporum--look worse
3. Texas Mountain Laurel--some signs of life, but need the defibrillator on some of them
4. Neighbor's palm trees--some signs of life, but they look out of place in North Central Texas most of the time anyway.
5. Oleander--encouraging shoots from the roots.
Some plants, I've been pleasantly surprised how good they look right now 1--Vitex-- Root system must be impressive on these--they look hardly fazed at all for a subtropical plant 2-Roses-look better this year than last.

Hawthorns are smoked all over town. A lot of Rosemary plants look to be toast. Everyone has been digging them up this week. I don't think I lost anything. I thought I lost my plumbagos and Loropetalum but both showed signs of life this week. Even my Esperanza's came back. I was not expecting that.

Lorapataliums are showing minor signs of new growth. Indian hawthorns as well. One red tip gone, the other 4 are fine, maybe not cold related. Last live oak showing signs of coming back.
The annuals we have in some of the flower beds have come on real strong, they look healthy as do the Mexican sages

I pulled up a big hawthorne I had. It had some green at the base but I chunked it. Lost a huge rosemary bush but my fig tree and blackberry bushes are coming out nicely. Crepe myrtle made it.

All four mature Wax-Leaf Ligustrum's are dead. Hawthornes gone. Pittosporums are toast! Plumbago up and strong to very strong.

Rosemary bushes are coming back. Very surprised to see the Texas sage bushes returning--those are some hardy plants.

I am on Cedar Creek
I have a Pittosporum that I think is gone was green after the melt but has browned and lost leaves progressively since. Have a bunch loropetalums that look really grim but I am starting to see new growth especially from the base. I probably had 20 dwarf gardenias and looks like I have lost about half.... I am in a wait and see on these. Had some damage to about half of my camelias... but I think they will come back.
I am most shocked about the damage to the loblolly pines... lots of those seem to be gone... I don't have any but my neighbor does and she lost a big one. Drove past the arboretum in Athens yesterday and there are several at the entrance that look to be toast..

I just bush hogged a big bottlebrush and a gardenia that were toast. Some of my gardenias survived though.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Lorapetullums look real dead except for one has some new leaf growth. Pittosporums coming back. Azaleas good. Camelia slowly reviving. Those lorapetallums are fickle anway. If they die, im good
