Not wanting or asking for any secret spots or anything. Seeking advise if this lake is safe to run or if there are any underwater hazards. Never been there. Plan on running all over from way up the Colorado to the Dam. Any advise on things to watch out for.
Thanks.

I would say it is about as safe a lake to run as there is. Very little in the way of obstructions on the main lake.

Just shallow spots on your mapping. Some are even more shallow now after the floods. Main lake is clear

The closer you get to the Dam up the Colorado there is some granite outcroppings.

If you stay in the middle of the river is it fairly safe?

There are large red and green navigation buoys that mark the deep center channel of the lake. Stay between those and you are absolutely safe. Everything else is pretty well marked.
