The climate change loons want us to believe that "rolling blackouts" are the wave of the future. Just like the left coasters. The media will push this as the new norm. As long as we have masks and some candles to read by, we should be good.

Lot of truth in this statement. All in the name of climate change and global warming. This is just the beginning. The left wants power and more control or the people
This pretty much sums it up.

I don't know if you have fished Fairfield or Monticello lately but we have replaced these huge coal plants for windmills. We shall all strive to be green.

Have not. Been to FF twice, it was cool until winds came up from the North at 45 MPH. The other time racoons stole all our food and fishing was poor.

Never been to Monti. Heard you cant get glitter boats on it anymore?

I am down to backseat with you on FF. We can take epic pics of the windmills.

Maybe you could send a text to your mentor and friend, Gov. Newsom of Callyfornicate and ask him what we should expect from the globalist climate cultists?

Dear Valued Customer:

We filed for an incremental adjustment to the price you pay for natural gas service.* This interim rate adjustment, proposed to become effective May 3, 2021, recovers the money we invested in our natural gas distribution system, which provides you with safe and reliable service.

Full details about the interim rate adjustment and frequently asked questions are found here.

Thank you for your business,

They want to add $2.xx per month to the customer charge for the millions of people on their service. whip

I wish my company could charge all of my customers monthly just to be my customers! confused 3

Oh that ain't nothing compared to Atmos Energy (gas)...............
They have a $20. surcharge, you pay each month, regardless of your useage........
Example, during the summer, my gas usage is about $17.00 but I have to pay the $20.00 as well...
So that makes my bill $37.00................
If your bill is, say $45.00...... You still pay the $20.00.. Which makes it $65.00......................
I don't mind paying the Minimum of $20..... But why do I have to pay both.......?????
But, I will say this...... My gas, never went off during the freeze-a-thon...............

Oh but wait there's more! whip

We already pay $18.00 a month to be their customer so now it will be $20.39! whip

Commercial customers (small) will be $40.48 a month and big commercial customers will be $151.21 (up $18.31) a month! slinger

Interesting. I would have thought it was mid February when I had no power for three and a half days.

The whole melting snow to heat water on the charcoal grill for hot water bags, cooking on the "decorative" gas fireplace, inside temps were a balmy 39 degrees, would have made me believe that in February was when the power plants were in outage season.
