The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our second members only tournament of 2021, this past Saturday, April 10th, on Lake Texoma. The weather started out very chilly but warmed up nicely. The wind however was blowing hard from first cast to lines out and made moving around a bit more uncomfortable than some of us would have liked. Despite that, 23 teams came out to fish with us. Fishing was good for most as 13 limits were weighed in. When the day was wrapped up, our winners were Paul Spann and Bill Gammons with a great mixed bag of smallmouth and largemouth that weighed 17.89 pounds! Big bass of the tournament went to the team of Garrett Macias and Bobby Finta with a giant 8.17 largemouth. Here are full results and pictures

Vince Burt and David Burton had two for 3.94

Jim Phillips and Randy Bridges had two fish for 4.32

[Linked Image]

JT Walker and Bodee Landauer had three for 6.10

[Linked Image]

Martin and Rhett Kutz weighed three for 6.83 but won best picture easily

Robert Hitt and John Bruner also had three for 6.83

[Linked Image]

Clark Crenshaw and Roddy Bieber had three for 7.11

[Linked Image]

Preston Smith and David Horton weighed a limit for 11.14

Chris Atkinson and myself had four for 11.49 and were happy to be on terra firma...

Thanks to everyone that came out! Thanks to David Choate and Stan Browning for doing registration and livewell checks. Our next get together is our Annual RHBC Open Tournament coming up on Saturday April 24th on Lake Ray Hubbard. This event is open to anyone who wants to fish. We’ll get started at 5:00AM at Chandlers Landing Marina with registration and we’ll fish from 6:30 - 3:00. Hope to see you there!
