Well we are going to find out. Yesterday, I ordered a rod through Power Tackle. It’s going to be a 7ft 1 medium rod for wacky, neko, and Ned rigs. I am super excited and should get it in the next couple of weeks. If I can I am going to be very excited bc it will be a little cheaper and I am not crazy about the color scheme of G loomis. I am kind of boring. I just want my rod to be black.

Been building our own rods for a while. Have some would put up against an NRX.

I have a nice collection of Power Tackle rods, and love every one of them! The new “one” series with the carbon fiber handle are my new favorites. Judy is great to deal with also.

I would say no. The secret to NRX is the blank and since GLoomis no longer sells blanks you are pretty much S.O.L.

There are high dollar blanks that you can use that I would put up against them, all depends on how much you want to spend on a custom rod.

Call me crazy, but I'd put a Power Tackle rod up against anything out there.

The LPC 400 is the closest rod to a NRX that I have ever had in my hand. That’s comparing to a 822 DSR. And we drop shot ALOT in our boat. But the NRX is hard to beat on the spinning rod side. But Power Tackle has their casting rods beat in my opinion.

I don’t know but broke NRX Saturday TTZ called GLoomis Monday and said it was discontinued.Sending a Conquest but back ordered till June $189 bucks hope it’s as good?

The answer to your headder is it all depends on what blank you use to start with if you are looking for sensitivity. Are you looking mainly for the most sensitive or just one that is very durable?

Are you talking about sensitivity or durability? What else have you compared them to? Don't get me wrong, I love Power Tackle rods,,,,I have 10 of them. Power tackle rods are bullet proof as far as durability. They are very well made rods and made in the US.
