Just want to catch some. The more you catch the better you learn as to their whereabouts. etc. I take it that it is almost like trout fishing, look for moving water and fish the seems. I use both fly tackle and ultralight spinning. What is the easiest way to catch some Guadalupe bass? Thanks.

You can catch them about any way you want. If you are around them, they will eat. I catch quite a few on small crank baits and ned rig type of baits on the river lakes, and white H&H spinner baits with the tail dipped chartreuse in the hill country creeks.

We used to catch them in Dunlap on small jigs before the dam broke. I’m sure there’s still some in there.

South Llano River around S. Llano River State Park. Fish a chartreuse curly tailed grub on a jig head. Concentrate on the faster moving water. Rent a canoe or kayak and float from the 377 crossing down to the state park. Tons of Guads and a beautiful trip.

They were fun to catch out of the Llano on a fly rod. There are plenty to come by in Lake Travis as said above. They eat everything, very aggressive little buggers.
