Wife is 63 and still battling the flashes. Its a way of life. You'll learn to navigate eventually.

My wife is entering the next stage of womanhood... Aunt Flo is on her way out and Minnie Pause is taking her place. Friday my wife was adoring, gentle, compassionate..... By yesterday evening I was in fear of my life. If you don't hear from me for a few days.... please come check on me. Bring a shovel, if you see a fresh flower bed, dig there first.
My inquiry.... how much of this should I expect, and for how long? I do not believe the BSC scale covers the senior years.
Get some scene control, tell her to shut up, act like a man...... I TRIED... HAD HER ON HER HANDS AND KNEES.....SCREAMING AT ME TO COME OUT FROM UNDER THE BED AND FIGHT LIKA A MAN.

I don't think I'd notice the difference with my wife.

you just lost control of your thermostat for the duration. I did not posses that authority anyhow.

I would not recommend telling her this as her husband, but maybe get a female friend that has gone through menopause to talk to her about speaking to her physician about things. Most females seem to benefit from HRT. I have a family member that recently started hormone replacement therapy....her attitude has greatly improved. Unfortunately for her husband, she started during the pandemic....there was no escape.

My wife got on the pill a few months before we got married. After a year I told her one of us has to leave if she didn't get off them. Her mother convinced her to quit the pill but the damage was already done, that was 46 yrs. ago. She was very hard to live with, then she had a hysterectomy soon after our daughter was born 30 years ago. Finally about a year and a half ago she mellowed out a bit. It's been one tough ride.

Sounds like you and TexDawg have something in common then. By chance, do you have a swimming pool as well?
