The last few seasons were OK. You can tell the writers changed as Lip's story morphed and Fiona started to get dull before she left the show.

I'm on season 3 right now. Carl is my favorite. How would you describe the show? Is it a comedy? A train wreck. But definitely worth binge watching. If anything it should make most people feel better about their family. Because the Gallaghers are as bad as it gets. It's pretty funny in my opinion.

As long as Shameless has been on, is about the same length of time that Dish didn't carry HBO. Finally switched to Streaming TV and have HBO and it's going away.
