Has anyone heard an update on when they are implementing the rule change to allow conceal carry on corp of engineer lakes? I haven't seen any news since mid-last year. It was my understanding the rule change was approved.

Yes, I know the written permission rule. That is not what I'm referencing. There was a proposed rule change to eliminate any ltc ban.

In the USA, there is a law against everything. You probably commit a felony every single day without knowing it.

“The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.”

― Tacitus, The Annals of Imperial Rome

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I’m in a conference all week and haven’t much time to devote to this. I tried to research it on a break and found that the USACOE was accepting public input on the issue up to June of 2020. I don’t recall the pertinent section of the CFR for those regulations, but if you’ll cal their headquarters at 207/761-4489 I’m sure they’ll update you. Let us know what you find out.

That second article was written before USACE proposed the rule change. It appears no litigation needs to take place. They simply need to change the regulation.
