First of all congrats to Terry Peacock. Secondly I am a weekend angler and looking for a little (or a Lot) of education. A buddy and myself fished Ray Roberts today and probably couldn't of bought a bite. I would really like to hear what Mr. Peacock's strategy was for today. I know he is a tournament fisher and may not want this to be known and that is okay but I would like to hear from anybody that was fishing Ray Roberts today and had some success. We were not brave enough to fish any of the main lake, we stuck to beating the banks and secondary points and it felt like we threw everything but the kitchen sink. I do not fish tournaments and just looking to get educated by those that were successful today (blue bird day with very windy conditions). Thanks in advance.

Pretty awesome that Mr Peacock said he’s still splitting the winnings with his partner. At weigh in he said he caught a giant on a chatterbait in the first hour, did some bed fishing, and flipped some bushes.

Congrats to everyone that caught em, it was one of those mentally tough days with the wind ripping and seemingly 3/4 of the field in 2 creeks. I can’t recall seeing spearing size waves that far north of wolf island in a non south wind before.

Congrats to Mr Peacock. We decided to go where we thought would have the least amount of pressure, since we did not practice it was going to be a gamble either way, for the most part we got to fish where we wanted, the bad part was we could not find any fish, had 3 keepers and lost two. Hit a trailer with my truck, no damage to trailer but probably about 600 to my truck, knocked a big chunk out of the skeg on motor, probably another 250, over all it was a great day. grin

It's an accomplishment to get 5 keeper bites on that lake
