I know the concept z doesn't have bearings, instead it has bushings... but, casting this sucker, every 3rd cast or so, has dramatically reduced casting distance and a terrible noise like a bad bearing. Doesn't do it every cast, but most of them. Reel is around 1.5 years old.

Any idea the culprit? Easy fix at home, or send to someone?

Clean the bushings and spool shaft then lube with 1 drop of oil on a q-tip

This. I just used a swab with a little alcohol on it. Even a small piece of grit will make it noisy.
