I pulled the ole Ranger,(Katie Mae), outta the garage yesterday morn after having the old polecat visit her on the day before and headed SE to one of my favorite fishing lakes. Lake with TWO names is what I affectionately call her and she once more rewarded me for my affection.I went to a favorite spot to try out a new hand tied jig that I call "CIVIL WAR" (hope no one is offended) simply because of the colors I used to tie it ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-35665-91993-20200612_182651.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/04/full-35665-91994-20210408_184940.jpg) & they ate it up! Here are two of the larger females caught with it! I wish I knew how to make videos like some of those Youtube guys.I know it would be a laugh for some of you guys watchin my old bonzs catch fish.

Very nice, congrats! What depth were you fishing? I am interest in seeing a pic of the civil war jig as well if you have any?

Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

Nice slabs bonz. You are the only one that I have ever ran into from the TFF on this 2 name lake. I met you there around 10 years ago fishing with a guy named Sarg. Keep up the good work!
