The next event will be the ascent.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

My brother told me large bay boats in 24-26 foot range are experiencing a shortage in the Tampa Bay Area. It like no one can get a giant boat to not catch fish.

Wife’s 2020 Explorer has been in the body for 6 months due to a piece of plastic in the front grill. Makes me irritated, because they are obviously making new cars still; but won’t let any parts go on for repairs.

The ford dealer said they had transmissions needing repairs and can’t get parts for them.

I was going to buy a new truck, not going to buy one and risk not having parts to fix it though. bang

I blame the shortages on covid businesses close, people working from home. Everybody has extra time on their hands for other things like home improvement and hobbies making for shortages everywhere. I went to a tree farm to get some oak trees they were picked over and what was left was poorly shaped, thin, and scraggly. I tried 2 other places with the same results. They all said the same thing lots of landscaping going on.

I had a buddy that was in the market for a good used boat over in coastal North Carolina, it took him months to find anything worth looking at, and they were all priced quite high

Apparently there’s also an issue with unloading ships at California. Not enough workers to unload all the ships and only perishable items were being unloaded. I’ve heard this from a few businesses now.

I had gotten a quote on replacing a 30x40 metal building three weeks ago. In that 3 weeks time, the price went up $1000 just from materials.
We're still rebuilding from the winter storm and materials prices are just asinine. I went to get some fluids for my tractor and was talking to the shop manager. He was telling me a lot of his parts are 6-9 months out now, because factories can't get raw materials to even make the parts.

All true, my Eifs manufactures having trouble getting five gallon buckets, Dryvit is only operating at 30% at the moment. Metal Lath was 5$ per sheet for 2.5 self furring and is now 11$. Stucco/ Eifs industry is a mess right now and I’m hopeful it’s gets straightened out soon, I have a 600 home subdivision start soon and I’m stock piling material now in case I can’t get it.
