I saw that too yesterday Mike. Surprisingly I went in there for 2 specific things and they had it. That 19 TRX looked pretty good! Well, I know it wasn’t jackhammers, because they had none! (As usual) It is an odd day and kind of spooky when you do find something in stock. It was the first time I’ve seen a Triton up close, they look like they’d deflect side splash waves very well. Front box looked huge, price seemed very reasonable. That rear splashwell took my by surprise, I guess it keeps the backwash off the deck. I’m starting to wonder if I saw the price correctly, it was $52-$53k, right??? 2021 19 TrX Patriot
w/ Mercury® 225 L Pro XS Torque Master 1.75
National Base Price* $52,995 USD
Length 19' 9''
Hull Length 19' 9''
Beam 95''
Thanks sir, for some reason I thought they were quite a bit more expensive.

Thanks sir, for some reason I thought they were quite a bit more expensive. That's the 19 foot class - similar price for most manufacturers; add upgraded electronics packages to this and the other brands and you'll approach a different (premium) price-point. Hint; they come standard with a 7" Graph in the dash (even on the 21-22 footer)

Maybe they are trying to sweeten the deal, seemed better equipped than the nitros.

Mass produced, assembly line Nitro boats come in 3 flavors now 1) Nitro 2) Triton 3) Ranger ^^^ This, do you want a vanilla, strawberry or chocolate flavored Nitro. What boat isn't made on an assembly line? We got my 1997 Triton new off the showroom floor and have been running it for 24 years. In that time, here's what I've had to do to it: One minor fiberglass gash repair - $750 One power pack - $150 One VRO pump - $600 One trolling motor foot switch (just replaced last week) - $25 One trolling motor control board - $140 Three new sets of tires - $450 each Other than that, she's been flawless. you have a real Earl Bentz Triton boat not a modern day Johnny Morris low bid assembly boat. Huge difference. Ask the long time Ranger guys, that are jumping ship, how the quality and customer service is now compared to pre-johnny All of the boats are still functional and will float, just not what they were when the original companies and employees built them Understand your point now. Makes sense.

None of those repairs are Tritons problems! Sounds like you got a good boat. The motors and other stuff bolted onto the boat can the the same on any boat. Agreed - the boat has been freaking bulletproof. Caught so many good fish out of it. I was a kid when my dad bought it and now my kids catch fish out of it. If you had told me that 24 years in, we'd have spent less than $3k in maintenance and upkeep, I'd have been ecstatic.

Its one thing to not like BPS or Morris, but the facts disagree with you.

Don’t like Nitro? Don’t buy a Nitro. Don’t like Triton? Don’t buy a Triton.
Seems like most discussion about BPS, Johnny, Nitro, Ranger, and Triton all come from people with too much time on their hands to sit around and find things to be negative about. It’d be like walking through a grocery store and pointing at every food you dislike- just move on and don’t buy it.

You JM haters should be thanking him for halfway keeping boat prices down. Although I can't imagine plunking down 50k for a boat, much less 90k.

I had two JM Tritons, both were good boats but had a few QC issues. Seats were two big and couldn’t open the center console lid, after a year they finally sent new ones. That was the issue I had, warranty only stuff that they didn’t handle well.
DJB, his boat prices went up every year in June when the new models cam out so I’m not sure where your coming up with that.

all boats are produced in a assembly line some folks are jealous about how many wrmg can sell . Yeah but some are produced better, Ranger has gone to sh#t since WRM took over they've been Nitroized and this is the truth. Gimme a break, zero truth in that. I've crawled all over a bunch of new Rangers, they get better every year, most boat brands do. Nothing wrong with Nitro either.

It’d be like walking through a grocery store and pointing at every food you dislike- just move on and don’t buy it. It's not about not liking them, it's about the fact that Johnny is about low quality. Just go climb around a Tracker or a Nitro at BPS and you'll see. Fitment and attention to detail are low quality. Just a fact. It's the JM way. Ranger and Triton will head that way too and have already shown signs of heading that way with the direction that Ranger customer service is headed. It's Johnny's company, he can do what he wants, but facts don't care about people's feelings. And Nitro and Ranger owners tend to be the most sensitive (most of the time. Not always, but most of the time).

I don’t like black licorice, but I don’t feel the need to post it in forums and social media constantly. So again: Don’t like them? Don’t buy them. Why waste the time and energy talking about them? Seems like a miserable way to live just looking for things to piss and moan about.

I hate black licorice, it's disgusting. There I get to share my opinion since this is America. At least it once was.
