Wanted to share this because I know some of you may not recall the event since it was over 30 years ago. On 2/11/1990 LF Guide & friend found a 20 lbs 8 oz bass floating dead near Big Mustang Creek. The bass had begun to deteriorate and the turtles had begun to nibble on it. Ron Kelly made a replica of it and several of those are at marinas around the lake.

I would have looked in their gullets / stomach to see if they had been previously hooked and stress killed them.
