I’ve gone through 9 bags of flukes in the last 3 trips and everyone of them I dyed the tail. Not sure if it matters to the fish but it does to me, so I do it!

I've found that during the Spring / Summer that when I dye my bait tails, I get more bites. I use JJ's dye though....it stinks to high heaven.

Buyer beware

JJ’s is my favorite, gets me bites and masks whatever scent I might be putting on my soft plastics when handling them.

One exception, no dipping required in Mexico. Those fish are pretty dumb down there!

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Confidence matters. Do spike or don't but confidence is the key- for me anyway.

Fished in Mexico last year and it made a difference. Threw the same bait with and without. They would only hit the with baits. Don’t know if it’s the color or scent but it definitely made a difference. Don’t think it’s a day in day out thing but it did for those 4 days.

If you're not fishing chartreuse, you're not fishing... heard that a long time ago and it has stuck with me.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

It seems to work for me. Of course, it may just be a confidence thing. I usually use it on creature baits.

I dip all soft plastics in it. Don't know if it makes any difference but it makes me feel more confident and it doesn't cost much of anything to use.

Yep me 2. I see absolutely zero reason to trip buy dip anymore. Dip after a while starts turning brown anyhow.
