#fake news, they don’t work, right....lol

How many of you guys throw both and does one seem to work better than the other for you? I’ve been doing very well with the hammer and am curious is the TC is just as good, better or not as good.

I can’t speak for the TC as I throw a different brand... there’s only been one time the jackhammer has out fished the one I’m throwing from the same boat. They wouldn’t bite much of anything that day except the jackhammer... but that’s one day out of probably 10 going head to head with the hammer. The 2 prototype baits I’ve been testing for the last month IMO out perform all of em, but no idea when it will actually make it to market.

The thunder cricket doesn't have near the thump to me the jackhammer does. I bought 2, tried one for about 30 min and gave both away. I'll stick to tried and true.

I have only thrown a cricket for about 10 mins and noticed that it had less vibration. That’s kinda what made me wonder, on certain days, would fish be more inclined to hit one or the other???? Maybe they’d want more thump one day and less the next, but I don’t know anyone that’s tried both brands equally.

Major tackle manufacturer or small independent maker?

I’ve used both and have had much better success with the jackhammer. The TC is definitely more of a subtle bait. I’ve got to say that I actually like the ZMan Project Z better than the TC. So I tend to pick that up when I want something more subtle than the jackhammer

Al called me and another guy racist. I told him that he was “bat s**t crazy” and clueless about what really happens in America. I can be called many things that I’ll agree with, but a racist is not one of them. Then in typical fashion, he deleted the thread that show what an a** that he was.

He seems to think that America has a huge racism issue because of what he watches on tv. rolleyes

Yeah that doesn’t surprise me a bit. Pretty much a one way street over there. Fall in line or get the wave.

I personally throw the Z Man Original Chatterbait and don't ask me why but the way I fish it and because of the subtle slow action I can produce with it I actually prefer it over either of those baits.
And that makes me very happy because of the price difference.

thumb the price is definitely helpful for when one gets snagged and has to be broken off. Lol

Permanent and I’m fine with it, biting my tongue sometimes was getting old.
