With my two grandsons and their dads. This trip never disappoints- I first did this same 20 mile trip in a canoe in 1979, and to now do it with my grandsons is pretty cool to me. The youngest is 10 now and it was his first trip, AND he really caught more fish than any of us. Where did you exit the river? We had Rochelles shuttle us up to the dam, Hwy 16 bridge, we get on the river there and pull out at Rochelles place 19.5 miles down river at the Hwy 4 bridge. http://www.rochellescanoeandkayakrental.com/

Thanks guys, that’s a special trip for me, my oldest son is 40 now, and he made his first trip at 10, then his son was 10 on his first, and on this trip my youngest grandson just turned 10 and this his first.
I’d like to think that those boys will someday do this same trip with their boys.
