I have a question. Why are people worried about what line size they use but not concerned with a big hook on their wacky rigs. What size hook do yall use?

Anywhere from size 2 through 2/0, just depends on what rod and area I'm fishing.

#2 VMC nekos.....those hooks are great in many finesse situations. if you got a fly tying vice and bobbin...you can make some good weedless/t-rig hooks with them too!!!

forgot it wont pop up. its a bassblaster video with seth feider and he is rigging up a neko and using the size 2 hook. im not a hook expert so dont know if sizing is completely universal...but the 2 is a really good size in this hook, not too big and not too small.

are hook sizes universal? Ive always wondered that because the first order wasnt for #2s...but now they are what I primarily use for finesse after seeing them in person. I know from painting baits a #2 split ring isnt the same for everyone....just assumed it was like that for hooks too. Check out that link I posted of Feider. Feider isnt a tiny guy and you can see what the #2 looks like in his hand. But....all this im saying is in regards to the VMC neko specifically
