Big shout out to the guys in the blue bass boat who towed us in today at Grapevine. Fishing the N. shoreline W of Twin Coves we lost our big motor, then the trolling motor stopped. The guys honored our waving and came and pulled us off the rocks in the nick of time then pulled us into the Twin Cove launch. We do our best to keep my buddy's boat well kept, but sometimes things happen that are, in the moment, beyond explanation. The 24' Blue Wave is in the shop now so we will find out what caused the failures. I'm sure the repairs won't be inexpensive but thanks to the good Samaritans, the boat floats and will fish again! Many thanks guys and we will pay it forward!! (no fish caught, either!)

Thanks for sharing JC. I agree with Banker and Popr...these are the stories that that reaffirm the fact that there are still good folk in this world...despite what we see on TV. Life is hard enough by one's self, and so much better when try to help one another.
