My last trip to Inks Lake was an eyeopener to me on Wacky Rig Fishing. We used Green Pumpkin and the bite was on. My question is about rigging and plastics. Used a small hook double inserted into center of the Senko. What size hooks do you prefer? O-Ring or no O-ring. At Academy.....Yamamoto Senkos 7.99 KVD 3.99 and Yum Dinger 2.99 any thoughts. I was using spinning gear 10lb. test....but prefer casting gear with 12lb line. I would greatly appreciate everyone's thoughts about YOUR wacky rig set up...and why. Thanks WUG

I want the hook Vertical through the plastic; so No O-ring or use a skinny piece of Shrink Tubing to help save baits. I like the skinny senkos or a trick worm.

VMC just rolled out their neko tool. Order that because it has little storage spots IN THE TOOL which will make organizing easier....and then these. But message the seller to get the sizes right. I bought the sizes for trick worms and senkos...likely the ones in the link, but message the dude to be sure

he also has the kit with the tool included for $26....which is what I got...but I want the VMC one for the storage so i dont gotta double dig for stuff when its wacky rigging time

I hate GYCB senkos cuz of the price....but its what i throw. they are clearly better than the competition imo...theyre action is just perfect. Some are slower action (ocho imo), some faster (bizz baits version imo)...but the damn senkos are just right to the bass and i have big confidence in them.

In the summer tho...I will throw BPS Stick-Os because I feel they are the closest in action if the water temp is warmer. Not a big fan of any other stick baits beside the senko...and maybe ocho if im in a pinch.
