Went out for a few hours early on Sunday.. Once again, the wind was blowing!! Caught quite a few small fish throwing a spinnerbait, but saw NO Fish up shallow on beds? Water temp in the coves was 63 -65 degrees. I did see a few decent size fish cruising out about 10 yards from the bank, but they all were very skiddish, and darted as any bait was near them. Even with the wind, water was fairly clear. Has anybody been able to locate beds in this lake yet?

I have never seen bed fish on Lewisville. Probably because most of the areas I fish are stained water. Caught several up shallow in the bushes on Saturday. biggest was 5-7 lber.
But that's just me.

I wish I could've been out there with them. My boat has been in the shop for over a month now because of a broken (off) trim motor. At least were to the point of waiting on parts, and not the Insurance Company! Though time could've been saved if they moved forward while waiting on Insurance! Hopefully there is no back-order, or I will miss the ENTIRE spawn.

As to Lewisville, I did some extremely limited sight fishing the last couple of years. In the creeks I was in you had to go back to the creek itself (not just the cove) to see them/catch them.

Saw many bed fish yesterday on Lewisville. But you're right most of the years past the water is too muddy to see them.
