Inexperienced on this lake, especially for the sac-a-lait. Will we be better served fishing for spawners or focus out deeper?...are there marked brushpiles (put out by the state) or other fish attractors?...water temps?...we will be campingat the StatePark...anything you can provide will be appreciated by myself and the fam...thank you

We all stumble and make mistakes. When you stumble, do you want your brother to help knock you down or to help set you back on your feet?

I was told that the COE office at lake O Pines has put out several brush piles and will give you the location. The Titus Co. Freshwater office near the dam may have the same locations.

Easter Sunday afternoon my family and 1 (6 people) fished from a family member's boat house and along the retaining wall. In a hour and half, we had 30 nice keepers.
We were swimming a 1/16 oz jig. Color and style of jig body didn't seem to matter. Water depth 1-5 feet.

I have seen people catching slabs right on the dock in the State Park.
