To give a little background the tournament director’s son was in the Ultimate High School Fishing tournament trail and continued to be successful in adult tournaments. He passed away suddenly due to medical issue the summer of his senior year. He has impacted so many individuals and his dad wants to continue his impact by making a yearly event that contributes to a scholarship that is given through the fishing organization to young women and men to aid them in their college careers.
