At the ole pond. Caught 6 on topwater this morning. I didn’t think there was a chance in hades to catch anything due to the chill, in fact, my hands were so cold I could barely hold the rod or cast. They were inhaling it, I actually had to perform minor surgery on a few of them they ate it so much. Now I’m trying to get the feeling back in my fingers. Great way to start the day.

much better than I did at Marine creek yesterday I caught about 4 dinks and PGR caught a nice fat 2-3lber

Seems a little early for the top water bite, but pond bass are unpredictable creatures.

Good for you. I've been to 2 different ponds in East Texas over the past 3 weeks that normally you can catch them on every cast. I struggled to catch 4.
