Been out every day the last week on Benbrook and have caught males/females in 2ft-15ft. They have been tough and scattered with the weather not cooperating. Today went down mustang and water temp was 60 caught 5 small ones and 1 donkey full of eggs about to burst in 8ft by the mouth of creek. Decided to check out bear creek and it turned out a lot better. Water was a slight bit warmer at 62-63 and caught 6 more keepers in shallow under overhanging trees. I didn’t count the 8-9 inch crappie but was wearing them out. The further down the creek I got the slower the bite. All caught on slab syndicate jigs which is all I use anymore. Grease bath is my favorite!!!
