Went road tripn down to Athens, Texas with my 2 favorite allies to go see the Texas Freshwater Fisheries. We had a great time and I recommend taking all young anglers if you get a chance. Good learning experience for kids and my son had a blast. We finished off the day with an evening drift and my sons first Flathead.

Thanks fellas It was a fun experience for all of us. 📢I almost forgot to tell y’all the funnies part of the whole trip. On our way down to Athens we crossed over Cedar Creek Lake. The fisherman were lined up hoping to get lucky. We saw a gentleman in a Cadillac Escalade backed right up to waters edge. He had 5 poles out, a cooler and a grill, and a lazy boy lawn chair sippin on a beer. Funny part is he was wearing a suit and tie! Lmao!  Now that’s what I call puttin in some work! How was work today honey? Oh,Just another day at the office!   🍻
