![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19953/filename/IMG_20210328_134444791.jpg) Line spoolers sell for over $30 on line. Instead buy a short paint roller. Put on new line roll, cap the end with a stopper or something like that so it doesn't spin off. The just clamp roller to your work bench and add new line to your reel. .Works great.

I put one in a small 4x4 block, use small vice grips to hold the spool on and keep it in the boat. have respooled a reel in less than 5 mins. while on the water.
they work great.

I put the spool on a screw driver , clamp the screwdriver in my vice .
you can also throw the spool in a bucket of water, or livewell if you are on the water.

fished with matt cartwright on tawok a while back...tie the line on, throw the spool in the lake and reel in. good resistance, little to no line twist.
