Prosecution's star witness said he went fishing that morning, caught three bass, and (warning - horrific content follows) murdered the bass in order to eat them!!! Hoping cross examination gets details on specific location, water temp, bait, etc.

His best bet would be to go to Canada and seek political asylum.

You think our liberal friends to the north would welcome him with open arms like they expect us to taking every criminal from our south.....

Other police officers are set to testify against him. Not good in any way.

He made himself a loser all on his own, chauvin did as well. No reasonable person would have behaved the way either one did that day.

I agree. Chauvin was a cop way too long not to know that his actions could cause death. Positional asphyxia has been well known in the police profession for at least 15 or more years. I think something just snapped in him that day and he was trying to dole out some street justice. He may not have set out to kill him but should have known he just might.

Cop deserves time for sure. Murder I’m not sold. The fact Floyd as become a martyr and riots and destruction that occurred due to career lowlife criminal is absurd. But in the end once the other 2 officers helping restrain stated concern for consciousness Chauvin should have checked on Floyd. As dumb as Floyd was and by now means a martyr for any cause he did deserve jail and his time in court but not death and let me be clear he may have died due to drugs and basic restraint anyways but once they said he wasn’t responsive he should have been checked. Hopefully justice system does as it should. Sadly unless convicted of murder which I don’t agree with there will be mass chaos once again.

IMO Geoge Floyd certainly no saint but Chauvin played judge, jury, and executioner with his knee on his neck for 9 minutes. The protests and rioting are simply stupid let the courts play out. The ones protesting don’t give a flip about George Floyd they just want an excuse to cause anarchy.

Watched some of the trial today. The prosecutors but on some pretty compelling evidence. Defense was clearly defenseless. Looked like they were going for a hung jury. Probably will be the end result.
