So this creeping vine has been in my St. Augustine in the back yard since the sod was laid. Winter and Spring pre emergents put out on schedule annually. This stuff stays unless I spot spray with 2-4-D which will kill the ones I see. Any idea what it is and control methods? [Linked Image]

That's a tough one to ID. I wouldn't use 24D on St. Aug. Your cheapest option is to try some Atrazine. Do a few test spots. It's safe for St. Aug. If it doesn't work there are a few more expensive herbicide options.

My plant identifier says it has all these names, moth plant, common moth vine, Cruel vine. It is a perennial weed, invasive species and has skin a irritating sap.

Thanks Jamoke. It's definitely an irritating plant. Coming up nicely in the backyard after the freeze. Thanks for the help!
