Launched around 3PM Friday afternoon into Caddo Lake at Tucker's Fish Camp. Fished a jig n bobber for crappie around cypress trees. Also fished 3" swim jig/search bait for bass. Just barely missed getting skunked. Picked up one small bass and lost one while trying to get the net. Paddled around the perimeter of Bird island and never found any water deeper than 6 feet. Lots of power boats moving around the area, but paddling through the trees offers protection. I honestly don't have a clue how to fish this area, but will definitely be back to give it a second chance. The area looks like a bass and crappie haven. I welcome any advice or tips on lures that work well in this area.

I can't give any advice, but what a beautiful looking lake! Nice bass, I hope to go there one day!
