Met up with a friend on the water to work out some livescope issues I was having. After watching him, the boy and I pulling up fish with a jigs, mama decided to give it a go. Her minnows weren’t catching anything. Feel like I hit the lottery not having to buy minnows anymore. Finally got the new boat slimed properly

Good for you. I went out on Belton Friday, mostly just to check out the boat. As usual, everything worked when I winterized it, the electronics were not working, mostly because the settings had changed. I was disappointed that there was so much slimy moss in the shallow water and the water was very clear. Guess I should have given it a more serious effort. Yesterday was beautiful with little wind to contend with.

2021 Tidewater 2110 Bay Max, 150 Yamaha. Just picked it up at the end of 2020 and only been out a few times without success. Livescope is a learning curve!

Shopped around looking at other bay boats, and this one came with the best bang for the buck. Really popular on the east coast and Florida, but relatively new here. We want to fish the coast, inshore more, lakes and I need something that was easier getting up and down from the drivers seat and handled better in the wind than my old xpress. Plus I needed the room, the kids have grown up, so it gets crowded in the xpress vs the roominess of the TD. The ride is incredible and DRY! No issues with the windy conditions or fighting to stay on a pile anymore

I find it kind of funny about the swapping of boat makes from here in south texas and florida; lots of new boat makes and models showing up here, and when I visit Tampa/St. Petes a couple times a year, I see more and more Majek boats, which are made right here in Corpus Christi...

glad you got something you're happy with, the boat supply is pretty thin around here lately!
