I guess something is wrong with me, but I’d rather eat food after it has cooled down to where it’s not cold, but must a step above it. To me, you can actually taste the food instead of the hot lava taste it has when it just comes to the table.

Left overs, typically I just eat cold or barely warmed up. Same thing, you can actually taste the food.

Some people bitch when a restaurant serves food that isn’t hot enough, I kind of appreciate it.

I will hang up and listen

Pizza is one of those foods that's better at room temp. I eat it cold sometimes.

I agree 100%. I eat nothing really hot, as a matter of fact I like my coffee luke warm to room temp.

I like food to have a temperature. A lot of times, if it isn’t hot enough, I will warm it up. There are other times when it’s not cold enough, I will chill it. Sometimes I will eat it and like it just as plated and served. There are really so many scenarios...makes it hard to find one to focus my comments on.

There is a lot of room between lukewarm and too hot to eat/taste. I don’t like burning my mouth but I don’t like lukewarm either.

Like most foods hot, the exception would be ham, chicken and pork chops. I lIke room temperature pizza but not icebox cold,

Not sure if you are really picky, or just wishy washy.

Same.
Most meats cool down quickly so it’s not an issue; but soups, pastas, pizzas, sauce type foods are best cooled down to warm.
Same goes for coffee, hot chocolate, and hot tea—best cooled down to warm.
