looking froward to my first trip to ivie , heading there a week from tomorrow . we are going to beat the bank.
extended forecast expects a strong south wind . how does this lake fish with the south wind ?
i can't find anything about the terrain of this area . experienced boater with a smaller skeeter .
thanks in advance !

If you are a bank beater go up elm creek are the Colorado. If you fish the Colorado launch at Concho park . If you want to fish elm creek launch at Kennedy park .

I beat the bank when i was there when they were still (likely) offshore and caught some small ones(4 pounders LOL).....I strongly believe they are shallow now....maybe not a 16 pounder but bank beating has to be good right now when you look at recent results.

Have fun! If you stay at elm creek, their burgers are great...and they can leave food in your room for you for when you get off the water too! Great thing that I didnt find out till my last 2 days there! 🤦‍♂️

Oh no, I’m like all the others, I keep all of my Choke Canyon Bass. You know...because “it’s not my lake”, like they all say.
