I crappie fished on CC Friday and there was bass boats every where I went. They all stating they were prefishing for the KCKL 95.9FM Big Bass Tournament this weekend. I bet they were surprised when the showed up at log cabin marina to register Friday evening.

Thank you for the correction TinRanger Jim. We never saw anyone catch a bass all day and a couple of them stated they wish they were crappie fishing instead.

The KcKl bass tournament is still Questionable. The nice lady Pat (my ex mother in law) that mostly ran it is older so Covid did stop it for now. Hopefully in 2022 it will happen. Maybe Mike M (co-president) will chime in as well. It’s the oldest big bass tournament in texas.

Covid ended a lot of events consecutive steaks last year. Side note does anyone know if the Bohemian on Whitney will happen or not? Have not heard a peep on their facebook page but heard last year covid may not have been the only reason they didn't try to move it from may to september or october as they have in the past, they supposedly lost their sponsors but that was probably also because of covid.

As of Monday, March 29, 2021, everyone age 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas, no reason not to continue living life.

Maybe some young people will take over running this, I'm afraid the new normal is here to stay.
