For the foreseeable future I will be spending 2-3 days a week in FW. Just looking for some suggestions, ponds, creeks, what ever. Day trips are very durable for me. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Trinity river has good bass fishing and some big carp. Plenty of access but the areas i can vouch for are at university dr, at panther island pavilion, and at beach st. Water is typically pretty dingy, so for bass make sure you have some big streamers/poppers handy.

Thanks got atbangler13 I was wondering about the Trinity. I am also into euro carp fishing. Giant buffalo have been captured at most of the areas you mentioned. I usually target sunfish with the fr.

I used to love fishing the Trinity in my younger years. Carp are abundant and easy on conventional tackle.
