 Livewell actuator broke

My actuator knob broke so I removed the screws holding the actuator in and it wouldn’t come out. This is on a Z521 Ranger. Are those things backed up by something or glued in? I didn’t want to pry on it and tear anything up. Any tips or advise on removing the actuator appreciated.
