Lon Kru,ger at OU announced his retiremen, hopefully they can get a good one. Schools like Tx. And OU are tough for BB Coaches, they know they will never be equal to the football program but the fans still wanna be competitive.

Marquette is a much better fit for him than Texas. He never should’ve gone to Texas. This is best for all parties involved. As for Texas basketball (and football for that matter), they need to throw all their money at whoever the Saban of college basketball is and get the hell out of his way and let him do his job. It would be a short list of coaches.
And the rumor is they will go after Chris Beard. He went to UT. If I were him, I’d stay at TT. He’s making $4.8 million, the football team is only good every few years so he won’t be overshadowed, and he has an excellent program that he controls. Stay and use your leverage to get up to $6 million and keep doing what you’re doing, if it was my decision.
