Do whites and striper migrate up the red river or into any of the creeks west of 377 for spring spawn? I'm headed up there this weekend and haven't boated that area before. Any info appreciated.

They do We used to fish that area in late February and March from the south bank, shad were good, caught some awesome hybrids and big cats Up stream mile or so submerged trees get treacherous over there Be careful! There are guides that go that way too

Thats one part of the lake I have never fished, I believe thats where Mark Menendez fished when they had the last bassmaster tournmament there, one of the few if any guys that went that way, he had a good finish I believe.
