I’ve been off all week and fishing Athens. All I’m seeing are lots of empty beds and the fish I do see on beds are either not locked on or too small to invest time into. Moving baits in spawning areas haven’t yielded any bites. Anyone else struggling?

Yea, not even the mosquitos were biting last week.. Warmer days, and some rain are hopefully going to help things. Have to work two more days, so with slow reports it makes it easier to do my job..

Fished Toledo last Thursday - Saturday and it was tough for sure. Post front and windy as all get out. Most of what we caught (and we didn't catch many) were on baby brushogs on flats in about 5 foot of water. Had to fish them as slow as possible to get bit. A few on swimbaits and wacky worms but nothing to brag about. Biggest fish in three days of fishing went about four pounds.

Huge wave pushed up in east texas and spawned then that last front really kicked them back. It's just now warning back up. Even here in Austin I'm only seeing 65-66 degree water temps.
