* If you had a bass boat without any fish finders, you didn't fish any tournaments, you fish the local river and Toledo/Rayburn lakes 2-3
times per year, how would you rig your boat for fun fishing?

* How many units? Thinking 2 (bow and console)

* What size units? Leaning towards 9"-10"

* What Brand?

* Trying to be practical and not buy a bunch of fancy gadgets I won't understand or use.

* BTW, I have a basic 24V MK 70 Maxxum

Thanks for your suggestions!

Thanks, but can anyone recommend smaller units, maybe 9"-10" max size? Lowrance, Humminbird, or Garmin? I guess they are all good but depends on whether you want to add 360 or Live Scope in future right?

garmin 93sv uhd plus, I have them on my champion and after nothing but humminbird for decades I am lovin them, 9".

great user interface, phone app that does your updates so no more load on the card then load to graph. they will handle livescope if you ever went that far but come with uhd/chirp transducers.

you can find them on sale for great prices off and on.

I picked up 2 of these a few weeks ago for $1000 each from BPS to replace my Ti9's. Heck of a deal and to me networking everything is overrated.

Very big difference in detail of both mapping and sonar. The 12" has 1280 x 800 Pixels were as the 9" only has 800 x 480 Pixels
